Academic Qualifications:
University degree in Rail Operations, Operations, Transport, Management, Business, Safety or equivalent professional experience and/or qualification deemed to be equivalent.
Operational Performance Monitoring:
Track daily train performance across the Etihad Rail network using real-time operational systems and dashboards.
Identify root causes of delays, disruptions, and reliability issues across routes and terminals.
Deliver timely, data-driven performance reports to stakeholders.
Performance Improvement Initiatives:
Develop and implement performance improvement strategies to optimise operational efficiency and service delivery.
Work closely with network controllers, maintenance teams, and operators to ensure solutions are practical and sustainable.
Lead performance review cycles to assess progress against key metrics.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Build strong relationships with freight customers, passenger operators, and internal teams (control, engineering, maintenance).
Represent performance interests in operational coordination meetings and strategic planning forums.
Facilitate open communication and joint working to resolve performance challenges.
Incident Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct detailed investigations of major service disruptions or performance failures.
Coordinate post-incident reviews to extract learnings and implement corrective actions.
Provide briefings and recommendations to senior leadership based on incident findings.
System & Data Utilization:
Use Etihad Rail’s performance systems to analyze trends and generate actionable insights.
Ensure high data quality and consistency for operational reporting and regulatory compliance.
Performance KPIs & Compliance:
Monitor key operational performance indicators (e.g. On-Time Performance, Delay Minutes, Asset Availability).
Ensure that performance standards meet regulatory, safety, and customer requirements.
Support strategic initiatives to elevate the operational excellence of the rail network.
