About Gulf Rail Jobs
Gulf Rail Jobs is an independent job board built for one thing: helping people find railway, metro and transport careers across the Gulf. The region is in the middle of the biggest rail expansion in its history — from Etihad Rail’s national network in the UAE to the Riyadh Metro, Doha Metro, Haramain High Speed Railway and the wider GCC Railway — and thousands of skilled and entry-level roles are being created along the way. We exist to make those opportunities easier to find and easier to understand.
What we do
We publish current rail and metro vacancies alongside plain-English guides on how to apply, what different roles involve, what they typically pay, and the qualifications and certifications employers actually ask for. Whether you are a train driver, signalling engineer, station assistant, track technician, project manager or a graduate looking for a trainee scheme, our aim is to give you accurate information and a clear next step rather than a wall of adverts.
Where we cover
Our focus is the six Gulf states: the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait. We track hiring from the region’s major operators and the international contractors and manufacturers that build and maintain their networks, including:
- Operators: Etihad Rail, Dubai Metro (RTA), Qatar Rail, Riyadh Metro, Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) and Oman Rail.
- Contractors & manufacturers: Alstom, Siemens Mobility, Hitachi Rail, CAF and their regional joint ventures.
How we keep listings accurate
Every job listing on the site is reviewed by hand before it goes live and dated so you can see how recent it is. When a vacancy closes, we mark it as expired. Our guides are written by our editorial team and updated as projects progress and hiring patterns change — so the salary ranges, application routes and requirements you read here reflect the current state of the market, not a copy of someone else’s page.
Who runs the site
Gulf Rail Jobs is run by a small independent editorial team with a background in following Gulf infrastructure and transport recruitment. We are not a recruitment agency and we do not charge job seekers. The site is free to use; employers and suppliers can advertise genuine rail vacancies with us.
