System RAMS Manager

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or a related technical field).

Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) engineering, systems assurance, or validation.Industry

Background: Prior experience in the railway, metro, mass transit, or highly regulated safety-critical engineering industries (like aerospace or defense).

Process Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of system engineering processes, risk analysis methodologies, and asset lifecycle management.

Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to perform safety risk assessments, trace system failures, and develop hazard logs/mitigation plans.

Standards Familiarity: Preference for candidates familiar with international railway safety standards (such as EN 50126, EN 50128, or EN 50129).

Stakeholder Coordination: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, validation, project managers) and external railway authorities.

Product-Oriented Focus: A proactive approach to learning complex technical rail systems (rolling stock, signalling, or traction) to continuously improve safety performance.

Organization: Driven by Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets with meticulous attention to detail regarding engineering documentation.
